APHRC is Winner of 2015 UN Population Award

The African Population and Health Research Center, APHRC, based in Kenya, has won the 2015 United Nations Population Award. Established in 1981, the award is given to individuals and institutions for exceptional work and achievement in the fields of population and health. Over the last decade the Centre has contributed to a better Africa through quality research, and results-based strategic communications and policy engagement. For more on the organisation’s work, Jane Mathebula spoke to the Head of the Population Dynamics and Reproductive Health Programme at APHRC, Chimaraoke Izugbara.
