ABOUT Sheena Kayira

Sheena supports the grants acquisition processes, grants management, partnership development and leadership in the review or updating of business development documents.

Sheena holds a Masters degree (MA) in Development Studies and has 10 years’ experience in charitable fundraising, donor engagement, proposal development, project management, grants compliance and organizational branding. Her experience in grants award and management spans across various bilateral and multilateral donors that include the World Bank, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Global Fund, European Commission, Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), the Department for International Development (DFID), the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF), World Food Programme (WFP), the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and various foundations. Her immediate previous position was Business Development Manager at Plan International Malawi.
