The M&E framework is also suitable for capturing the Center’s impacts as we strive to transform lives in Africa through research. The goal of the framework is thus to standardize and align the monitoring and evaluation processes, provide timely data and information, facilitate continuous learning and enhance accountability and transparency of the activities conducted at the Center. It will also guide the establishment of an M&E platform that is comprehensive, fully integrated and well-coordinated; improving tracking systems and databases. Ultimately, providing data that will inform strategic decision making and improve institutional memory.
