Urban Farming & Food Safety: Boosting Nutrition and Food Security in Nairobi’s Informal Settlements

This brief presents findings from the Nairobi Food System Lab, part of the EU-funded Healthy Food Africa project (2021–2025). Implemented by APHRC in Nairobi (Korogocho and Viwandani),  the study explores how urban farming and food safety interventions can improve nutrition and food safety in informal settlements.
