The A LOT-Change III Endline Evaluation Report assesses the impact of a three-year, community-based after-school support program targeting adolescents in Korogocho and Viwandani, urban informal settlements in Nairobi, Kenya. Implemented by APHRC in partnership with Miss Koch Kenya and U-Tena Youth Organization, the program aimed to enhance adolescents’ academic achievement, life skills, and social-emotional resilience through mentorship, parental counseling, digital literacy, and peer learning. Findings show modest improvements in literacy and numeracy, better self-confidence and aspirations, stronger parental involvement, and reduced delinquent behaviors among participants. The program was particularly impactful for follow-up cohorts who had been engaged in earlier phases, demonstrating sustained positive outcomes.
