ABOUT Beatrice Maina

Beatrice Maina works as an associate research scientist in the Sexual, Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health Unit, managing research projects on gender and sexual and reproductive health. Beatrice has extensive experience in design, implementation, evaluation and management of a broad range of  sexual and reproductive health research projects in sub-Saharan Africa, with a special focus on young people.

Beatrice holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, a Master of Arts degree in Population Studies from Population Studies and Research Institute at the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Mathematics and Economics) from Kenyatta University.
