This was a nationally representative survey conducted across 16 randomly sampled counties, namely Nairobi, Kilifi, Mombasa, Marsabit, Meru, Kitui, Garissa, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Busia, Migori, Nyamira, Nandi, Laikipia, Turkana, and Trans-Nzoia.
