We are pleased to share the inaugural issue of the Knowledge Innovation Exchange-Strengthening and Enhancing Education Data Systems (KIX-SEEDS) Newsletter. The project is an initiative to strengthen education data systems across sub-Saharan Africa. Building on previous research, this project addresses the challenges posed by weak data systems at sub-national levels, which often hinder effective decision-making.
Funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and led by APHRC in collaboration with local partners, KIXSEEDS is working to enhance data value chains in Uganda, Burkina Faso, and Senegal. The project aims to drive better decisions and improved outcomes in the education sector by scaling and adapting promising subnational models.
