Gender disparities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education continue to be a significant challenge across Africa. Two recent workshops, organized in collaboration with the African Population and Health Research Centre (APHRC), the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA), and the Southern African Regional Universities Association (SARUA), have been instrumental in providing critical insights into the current state of STEM education, with a specific focus on gender inclusion.
