DaYTA is a multi-country national survey on tobacco use among adolescents aged 10 to 17 years in Kenya, Nigeria, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The study will support the three sub-Saharan African countries in addressing barriers to data use in tobacco control by consolidating available and trusted tobacco control data, identifying and filling data gaps, and contributing to an existing online resource for policymakers to access the relevant data needed to pass and monitor tobacco control legislation. APHRC is implementing the study in Kenya and Nigeria (with support from local partners APIN Public Health and Research and Communications Services Ltd (RCS))
