Michael Lumula is a skilled IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Specialist with extensive experience in server and network management. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information and Communication Technology from the Technical University of Mombasa.

At APHRC, Michael oversees the design, administration, and security of the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal availability, performance, and adherence to security best practices. He integrates open-source technologies for virtualization, automation, monitoring, and network security to enhance system reliability and maintain cost-effectiveness.

His key responsibilities include server administration, infrastructure deployment, firewall management, network monitoring, and vulnerability mitigation. Michael also plays a key role in cross-departmental projects, working closely with developers to provide technical expertise and ensure the secure deployment of applications.
