ABOUT Kenneth Ngure

Kenneth Ngure is a Lecturer at the Institute of Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenya, and an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Washington in the Department of Global Health. He holds a PhD in Public Health, a Masters in of Public Health, and MSc in Organizational Development and an MSc in Clinical Trials. He is a recognized Scientist in the field of family planning, HIV prevention and behavioral Research. Dr. Ngure is currently a Core member of the Behavioral Research Working Group of the Microbicides Training Network, USA. Dr. Ngure has been a Fogarty Scholar at the University of Washington, BIARI Scholar at the Brown University and an Afya Bora Consortium Fellow. Recently, Dr. Ngure was awarded the 2012 Outstanding Community Partner Award of the University of Washington for his work in the field of HIV prevention.
