Gladys Wanjiru Maina
Gladys Maina is a Program Administrative Officer in the SRMNCAH Unit at the Center. She supports project implementation by coordinating meetings, managing event logistics, maintaining organized documentation and reports, and handling daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Project Planning and Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, with certifications in monitoring and evaluation and leadership development. Her early career in administration, marketing, and project support helped her build skills in coordination, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, which paved the way for her internship and eventual promotion to Program Administrative Officer at APHRC.
She is driven by a passion for meaningful impact, especially in health and development. She thrives on problem-solving, continuous learning, and contributing to efficient, well-executed projects that improve lives. Gladys combines strong project management skills with a genuine passion for improving health outcomes. She is known for her attention to detail, adaptability, and proactive approach.
