ABOUT Gillian C. Chepkwony

Gillian is a research officer, serving as the county liaison person for the Visibilize4climate Action Project in Laikipia and Samburu counties. She coordinates fieldwork and project logistics, leads stakeholder engagement and community mobilization efforts, and supports study dissemination initiatives.

She is a licensed community nutritionist, certified by the Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians Institute (KNDI), with a bachelor’s degree in Foods, Nutrition, and Dietetics. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health at the University of Suffolk. She has over six years of experience in nutrition research and practice. Before joining APHRC, she worked with the Ministry of Health as a Health and Nutrition Officer at the Samburu County Referral Hospital.

Gillian is driven by integrity, respect, and inclusivity, and is motivated by a desire for continuous learning and a passion for making a meaningful impact through her work.
