ABOUT Gift Dzombo

Gift is working on various cross-cutting projects at APHRC, including developing business cases for new initiatives and projects, conducting financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making, developing integrity courses in the virtual academy, and providing support for proposal development.

Gift holds a Ph.D. in Finance and an MBA (Finance Option), is a fully qualified Accountant (CPA-K), and is a member of ICPAK. Previously, he worked at St. Paul’s University as an Adjunct Lecturer, where he successfully mentored and supervised over 6 MBA students. He has also held various senior and middle management roles at Standard Chartered Bank spanning over 14 years, where he supported the development of multiple banking products, helping the bank achieve excellent and consistent financial performance and regulatory compliance.

He believes work is a God-given opportunity to make a difference in other people’s lives. He always gives his best in every task to make a positive impact on the world.

Gift has developed the budget template and Ulwazi II business case and performed gender parity analysis at APHRC.
