ABOUT Fatou Diop

As a member of the Business Development Unit from the West African Regional Office (WARO), She plays a vital role in advancing APHRC’s institutional development. Her responsibilities include guiding teams in adhering to APHRC processes, strategic priorities, and funder requirements before proposal submission and monitoring the deliverables and timelines of awarded projects. Additionally, she ensures donors receive critical information on projects to facilitate continued financing. She proactively identifies potential partnerships and funding opportunities while facilitating the drafting and implementing internal processes to support APHRC’s strategic development.

She holds a BA in English (Senegal_Gaston Berger University), an MA in economic and social development studies (France_Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne), and Ms teachings in IT Projects/ corporate development (France_Paris Diderot University) that helped her work in development projects, functional IT projects, CRM, quality management, business development, entrepreneurship coaching and teaching organizational Management.

Before joining APHRC she collaborated with public and private sector entities such as FORIM (Forum organizations related to Migration in France) GI (IT solutions), ISC (HR solutions), EMSA (Organizational Mgt), IGA (African Global Engineering), DGAC (French Civil Aviation Direction), SONATEL (Senegal National Telecoms Company), InTOUCH (Mobile finance), AWE (US Embassy), TAW (Tech African Women), etc. through economic and strategic development projects.
