ABOUT Dennis Amollo Akeyo

Dennis is a Research Officer in the Data Measurement and Evaluation Unit. He works under the Nairobi Urban Health and Demographic Surveillance System and Palladium OVC MER phase 2 projects.

Dennis holds a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Epidemiology at the university. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Science and Technology from Egerton University and has certificates in STATA, SPSS, and NVivo.

Prior to joining APHRC, Dennis worked as a Research Officer at Impact Africa and Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) on several epidemiological and public health studies.

He is driven by the desire to improve the quality of life in Africa through research. Some of his publications can be found on his ORCID profile here
