Cliff Mokua
Cliff works in the Development Unit, coordinating the acquisition and management processes of APHRC projects. These include fundraising, proposal development, contracting modalities, partnership management, and donor compliance. Additionally, he leads the team in the management of the Center’s projects in the Enterprise Resource Planning System – Serenic Navigator.
Cliff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, with a major in statistics, from the University of Nairobi. He is currently pursuing his Master of Arts degree in Project Planning and Management at the same university. He has also undergone training in grant management from Strathmore University. Before joining APHRC, Cliff worked as a Grants Officer at the International Center for Research in Agroforestry (ICRAF) for five years where he worked on multiple projects funded by various donors including USAID, EU, DFID, UNDP, UNICEF, the World Bank, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Government of Netherlands.
Cliff is driven by the vision of transformational change in the world.
