TRAINING PROGRAMS

APHRC has designed and piloted a number of training programs to meet the growing demand from individuals and institutions for stronger research capacity. APHRC is currently developing its Research Leadership and Training Center to meet its growing need for training facilities.

OVERVIEW

The Center runs training programs to meet the growing demand from individuals and institutions in these thematic areas:

Research Leadership: We focus on developing and supporting research leaders in sub-Saharan Africa to become globally recognized.
Institutional Leadership and Management: We support senior leadership at African institutions to lead and drive change.
Research Communication: We target researchers, policy makers, and media to bridge existing research and policy gaps and facilitate translation and use of evidence in policy formulation.
