A recent study by the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) highlights significant gaps in promoting gender equity within Kenya’s education sector, hindering academic progress and career opportunities for girls. Achieving gender equity in education is vital for advancing social justice, empowering individuals, and fostering economic development (Smith & Doe, 2019).

Ensuring equal access to education for all genders leads to better health outcomes, enhanced global competitiveness, and increased innovation (Kabeer, 2005). Prioritizing gender equity in education policies and practices is key to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting inclusive growth, and building a more just and equitable world for future generations.
