CANCER2: Breast Cancer Survivorship in Sub-Saharan Africa: A Pilot Study in Kenya
Project Period
February 2025 - February 2025
This project aims to determine the needs of cancer survivors in Kenya and understand their experience of cancer survivorship. The study employs mixed methods, collecting data through a validated “breast cancer needs assessment tool” and focus group discussions with breast cancer survivors in urban and rural settings in Kenya.
The study will generate an in-depth understanding of the lived experiences of breast cancer patients and knowledge about their survivorship experience. This will serve as a springboard to inform policymakers and clinicians on the needs of patients.
