ABOUT Winnie Achieng’ Opondo

Winnie anchors the administrative and logistical support, as well as the development functions under the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida), funded project on challenging the politics of social exclusion (CPSE) to improve access to sexual and reproductive health and rights services and ensure inclusion for sexual and gender minorities. She is also responsible for monitoring project budget status and managing the overall implementation of the project’s contractual agreement.

Winnie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Maseno University and also has experience in accounting. She previously worked with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems as the program coordinator during the 2017 general elections in Kenya. She coordinated the implementation of program activities, logistics and financial management support for the organization and the partners involved in the general elections and repeat Presidential poll in 2017.

Winnie is passionate about helping others and hence always ready to come up with creative ideas to do so in the most self-effacing way.
