ABOUT Wendyjoy Ntinyari Gitari

Wendyjoy holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Programming from Kenyatta University and has obtained certifications in Monitoring and Evaluation and Global Health Research from the University of Washington. She possesses strong skills in quantitative and qualitative research, statistical analysis, randomized control trials, and quasi-experimental research designs. Before joining APHRC, Wendyjoy worked on an impact evaluation of an intervention aimed at reducing GBV among girls and boys at Ujamaa Africa. She successfully coordinated and supported research activities in Kenya and Malawi. Additionally, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics.

Wendy has co-authored scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, collaborating with esteemed institutions such as the Karolinska Institute in Sweden.

Wendy is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, adolescents and young adults through evidence-based interventions and disseminating high-quality research data.
