ABOUT Mamadou Diallo

Mamadou is the Head of the Policy, Engagement, and Communications (PEC) Program.

He is a seasoned policy analyst and development professional with a strong record of accomplishment in assessing policy frameworks, leading political economy analyses (PEA), supporting impact-driven policy change and global advocacy campaigns.

Mamadou holds an Associate of Art degree in Natural Sciences (University of Tunis), a Bachelor of Arts in Theology & Business Administration (Andrews University, USA), a Master of Philosophy in Anthropology (ISFRA/ University of Mali), and a Master’s in Professional Coaching (LUNKUP, France).

He has over 27 years of experience in international development, working with international NGOs, donor organizations, the UN, and inter-state agencies. Mamadou has served in country and regional leadership roles in multi-country, multi-year, multi-million, and cross-sector initiatives with various donors, including the EU, USAID, Global Affairs Canada, Nordic donors, Agence Française de Développement (AFD), UNICEF, and major US-based Foundations (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, MasterCard Foundation among others).

His work experience spans a variety of sectors, including agri-food, WASH, health, energy, youth employment, and inclusive financial services. He has served on boards and consultative committees at national, regional, and global levels with profit and not-for-profit organizations/networks.
