ABOUT Lillian Omosa

Lillian Omosa, Ph.D., is an educator and researcher currently with Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS). She brings over 15 years of experience in the financial management of USAID-funded projects. Her professional background includes work with international development and public health organizations such as FHI 360(Family Health International) and the American International Health Alliance in the Washington DC area.

Through her consulting firm, she has led the research, development, and implementation of training manuals, including an Africentric Governance Training Program in collaboration with the Delmore “Buddy” Day Learning Institute, for African Nova Scotian entrepreneurs in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Her research interests focus on the financial literacy of micro-entrepreneurs, and her work in this area has been published.
