ABOUT Issabelah Mutuku

Issabelah is a Communications Officer in the Policy Engagement and Communications Program. She is a seasoned strategic communications and public relations professional with over a decade of experience in designing and implementing communication strategies that enhance organizational visibility, credibility, and policy advocacy influence.

Before joining APHRC, she served as a Communications Officer at the Centre for Health Solutions – Kenya and as the Marketing and Communications Executive at Transparency International Kenya. She holds a Master of Arts in Diplomacy, Development, and International Security from Daystar University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from St. Paul’s University.

Issabelah is passionate about advancing evidence-informed communication that drives social change and policy advancement by translating research into accessible messages, engaging stakeholders, and telling compelling stories that highlight the lived experiences of underserved communities.
