ABOUT Erick Muge

Erick Muge is a Communications Officer specializing in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), stakeholder engagement, and knowledge translation. He has spearheaded communication and knowledge translation efforts across various regional and global initiatives, including serving as the communication lead for the Women RISE Initiative, the Advancing Cancer Control for Health and Value (ACCHV) Project, and the ANeSA Project.

Previously, Erick held the role of Senior Editorial Officer at the International Rescue Committee, where he oversaw content development and strategic communication for the Julisha program in Dadaab, Garissa County. With more than nine years of experience in policy engagement and strategic communication, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to distill research findings into clear, actionable policy guidance. Erick is currently advancing his expertise through a Master’s program in Communication and Media Studies at the University of Nairobi.

He is inspired by his love for storytelling. He is passionate about translating complex research into powerful narratives that connect, inspire, and create lasting impact in people’s lives.

Outside work, Erick is a career mentor. With more than 6 years of experience in mentoring college and high school students on life skills and career progression.
