ABOUT
David Waiganjo
David supports multimedia work in the Visibility Unit under the Policy Engagement and Communication program. With over six years of experience in digital creation, he leads the creative development of various audio-visual communication products at APHRC, including videos, podcasts, reports, and livestreams, among other products. He utilizes photography, videography, and design to craft compelling stories that strengthen the organization’s brand and amplify its research impact. His work supports both external visibility and internal communication efforts.
He is currently pursuing a BA in Film Technologies and Performing Arts at KCA University and holds a Higher National Diploma in 3D Animation and Multimedia. Before joining the Center, David worked as a freelance digital creator, producing social media content, voiceovers, advertisements, and animations.
Beyond work, he has a deep appreciation for music across genres, often drawing creative inspiration from its rhythms and narratives. He frequently reflects on the words of Bob Marley: “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”
