ABOUT Daniel Maina

Daniel has hands-on experience in Mobile application development using Android, ODK, and SurveyCTO; Data Management using SQL Server, MySQL; Desktop Systems using VB.Net, DevExpress; Data Visualization using R-shiny.

He holds an MSc in Distributed Computing Systems from the University of Nairobi and a BSc degree in Computer Science from Egerton University. Daniel first joined APHRC in 2008 on a short term contract and was hired permanently as a Database Programmer in the year 2013. He is driven by a strong desire to be the best in the field of Software Development, getting value from data captured through various data systems; likes learning new things and taking on new challenges.
