Damaris Khakali
Her work involves coordinating advocacy and partner-related initiatives, collaborating closely with diverse partners (including government and non-profit organizations) to advance policy advocacy, community engagement, partner engagement, and sector coordination initiatives in the Water, Hygiene, and Sanitation Space.
She is pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration. She holds an undergraduate
degree in Arts with a major in Sociology and a minor in Gender and Development Studies from Kenyatta University. Before joining APHRC, she worked as a Project Officer- Water, Sanitation and Hygiene at Kenya Water for Health Organization (KWAHO), a Programs Officer- Gender, Social Inclusion and Livelihood Development at Neighbors Initiative Alliance (NIA), and as a Project Support Coordinator at Young Volunteers for the Environment Gambia (YVE).
