APHRC is recruiting a Communications & Multimedia Officer to join the West Africa Regional Office in Dakar, Senegal. The Communications and Multimedia Officer will play a central role in strengthening the visibility, uptake, and policy impact of APHRC’s work in West and Central Africa. The role combines strategic communication with high-quality multimedia production to translate complex scientific evidence into accessible, compelling, and policy-relevant content for diverse audiences. Based in Dakar, the Communications and Multimedia Officer will contribute to the implementation of the communications strategy while leading the development of visual and audiovisual products.
APHRC, in collaboration with the Science for Africa Foundation (SFA), seeks to engage a consultancy firm to conduct a comprehensive geopolitical situation analysis. This assessment will identify relevant geo-economic shifts and assess their implications for research priorities, funding sustainability, and partnerships.
As part of individual capacity strengthening efforts, APHRC has, over the years, been running a demand-driven research internship program whose objective seeks to nurture talented young Africans to become future scholars and research leaders.
