Our research addresses important issues and challenges facing Africa in areas such as education, health, population, aging, urbanization and well-being. We engage with policy makers in the region to disseminate our research findings to influence policy decisions and improve the quality of life in Africa. Requirements Demonstrated knowledge in web tagging and working with management tools such Ensighten or Adobe Tag Management Experience in scripting or coding preferred Ability to customize information retrieval on websites Experience tagging web content, with knowledge of using keywords for Search Engine Optimization Exceptional technical and analytical skills Strong organizational skills with ability to systematically collate information from multiple sources Possess strong interpersonal skills Ability to complete work independently, incorporate client feedback, and deliver on time. Scope of Assignment The consultant will play an editorial role by tagging keywords, phrases or acronyms against publications on the APHRC website and ensuring their searchability He/she will ensure the cohesiveness of typography and ensure conformity to set guidelines He/she will work collaboratively with the web developer and policy engagement & communications team in seeing the web content tagging through all phases of production Deliverables Categorized list of publications on the website Update the website with identified list of tags Share list of tags for the website on drive Train relevelant staff on how to tag content on the website moving forward. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ programming or any related field At least 2 years experience in back-end website management Timelines The work should take 10 working days.
