This fact sheet highlights evidence on contraceptive use among women in five selected countries in East Africa: Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. Data are drawn largely from Demographic and Health Surveys (DHSs) conducted between 1990 and 2016.
