ABOUT Faith Mwende Nyamu

Faith is currently the virtual learning academy officer at APHRC. She is an E-Learning Specialist and Moodle-Certified Learning Management Systems Administrator with a strong background in Computer Science and a passion for creating technology-driven learning experiences that inspire, empower, and deliver real impact.

Her work spans the entire e-learning development cycle from curriculum design and content creation using authoring tools such as Articulate Rise and Storyline, to course setup, deployment, and learner management on Moodle. She takes pride in building seamless, engaging, and data-informed learning environments that meet both organizational and learner needs.

Over the years, Faith has had the privilege of working with institutions such as the Ministry of Health (NASCOP), where she supported the development and delivery of eLearning content to empower healthcare workers in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). This initiative trained nurses on the revised HIV M&E tools, strengthening data quality and healthcare delivery through digital education.

Beyond this, she has worked with thousands of learners from different institutions across Africa and beyond, designing and managing multilingual learning experiences available in English, Swahili, French, and Portuguese. Her expertise also extends to consultancy for emerging organizations seeking to establish or enhance their e-learning solutions, guiding them through platform setup, course structuring, and learner engagement strategies.
