ABOUT Pauline Mercy Andeso

Pauline is a data scientist in the data science program, contributing to the Data Science Without Borders (DSWB) and INSPIRE mental health projects. Her work focuses on data standardization and harmonization, and analysis and development of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) pipelines aligned with the OMOP CDM. She is keen to develop and lead the analysis using platforms like ATLAS and contribute to other analytics projects at the Center.

She holds a BSc in Biostatistics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and an MSc in Statistics and Data Science (Biostatistics specialization) from Hasselt University (Belgium). Previously, she was an Assistant Biostatistician at the Africa Mental Health Research and Training Foundation  (AMHRTF), supporting statistical analyses of mental health data and systematic literature reviews on the Dementia for Strengthening Responses to Dementia (STRiDE) project.

Pauline’s drive lies in the opportunity to create solutions that can make a tangible impact in health research.
