Monica Wanjiru Njonge
People and Culture Business Partner
Monica serves as a People and Culture Business Partner within the Operations Division. In this role, she supports a broad range of human resource functions, including talent acquisition and management, employee learning and development, performance management, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Monica holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Moi University. She is a Certified Human Resource Practitioner – Kenya (CHRP-K) and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Human Resource Management option, at the African International University.
Prior to joining APHRC in 2016, Monica served as an Executive Assistant at Kenya Markets Trust, where she gained valuable experience in executive support and organizational operations.
Monica is deeply passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive organizational culture. She is committed to creating an environment where employees feel valued, motivated, and empowered to perform at their best while genuinely enjoying their work.
