ABOUT MESHACK MBUYI

Meshack is a dynamic development and fundraising professional with 10+ years’ experience in grants acquisition, business development, project management and strategic partnerships. He is critical in supporting business development processes and collaborating with researchers to review and update critical business development documentation. He holds Masters of Science in Education for Sustainability (London South Bank University), Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies (Community Development option) (Kenyatta University), Certificate in Fundraising Management (Indiana University, Lilly Family School of Philanthropy), and he is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy and Administration (Kenyatta University).

Meshack has experience across multiple domains including institutional, corporate, and philanthropic fundraising; partnerships development and management; proposal development and donor engagement; project management and grants compliance; capacity building; and fundraising strategy and asset development. His most recent role was as the Institutional Partnerships Manager at SOS Children’s Villages Kenya. He is driven by a profound commitment to social change and is dedicated to contributing to the development of sustainable funding solutions for mission-driven organizations. His work supports programs that create meaningful, transformative impacts in communities.
