ABOUT Mauline Kerubo Onyancha

Mauline works in the Advocacy Unit, where she offers administrative support. She also contributes to proposal writing, reporting, planning, organizing, logistics services, and other support functions across the PEC Program.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and Political Science from Kisii University. She is almost finalizing a Master’s degree in Diplomacy, Development, and International Security Studies at Daystar University. Before this, she had completed Certified Public Accountants in Section One, a diploma in secretarial and information technology in computer packages, and other short courses, namely Training of Occasional Trainer, Effective Presentation Techniques, Project Management, and Procurement training.

She has over 20 years of professional experience. Before joining APHRC in July 2023, she previously worked with the following organizations: The International Committee of the Red Cross as an Administrative Assistant; AAR Healthcare Limited as the Customer Care Executive; Critical Consultancy Services Limited as the Secretary; Brighton Education Centre as the Administrative Assistant and at Attain Enterprise Solutions as the Secretary majoring in project management, administration, customer care, and information management.

Through her work, she has played a vital role in responding to humanitarian gaps in Somalia and Kenya and in the countries with APHRC footprints. She has also successfully served the private sector.

She is driven by challenging work that allows her to learn and grow. Mauline is a marketer; she is very interested in International Relations and Diplomacy. She is outgoing and participates in corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, such as planting trees and providing social and economic support to vulnerable persons.
