Marcella Mwaka
Marcella is an education specialist with extensive experience in curriculum development, higher education (HE), quality assurance, and competency-based training. She has expertise in Blended Learning and Technology-Enabled Learning, with a strong background in designing and implementing capacity-building initiatives. She coordinates individual capacity-strengthening programs that enhance the skills of researchers, policymakers, and institutions to support evidence-informed decision-making.
She holds a PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degree in Education, specializing in Curriculum, Instruction, and Educational Media. With over 20 years of experience in university education, quality assurance, and implementation of competency-based education (CBE), she has led initiatives in policy development, accreditation, curriculum design, capacity building, and technology integration to enhance research, academic excellence, and institutional effectiveness.
