Maodo Malick
Malick coordinates the West African Regional Office’s (WARO) financial, HR, administrative, IT, and security and liaises with donors on reporting aspects and government entities about legal documents and host country agreements.
A Senegalese national, Malick is an accomplished financial manager with 15+ years of experience managing finances and operations for national and regional programs with activities in Senegal and West Africa. His financial management experience includes budgeting, forecasting, monthly and annual accounting, analysis, and reconciliation. In past positions, he created and integrated financial models to implement more efficient and streamlined operations. He has also managed all aspects of office operations, including procurement, contracting, human resources, and staff training.
Malick is well-versed in USAID financial reporting regulations, following five years of experience as a financial administrator and manager of three USAID-funded projects: USAID/Senegal Monitoring and Evaluation Project (MEP) (MSI Tetra Tech Company), Yaajeende (Heifer Project), and SUWASA (Tetra Tech). Mr. Gaye has proven expertise in compliance with USAID contracts and cooperative agreements and working with NGOs.
