ABOUT Frank Ouma

Frank is a Chronic Diseases Management Unit (CDM) statistician who is passionate about leveraging quality data to generate evidence for informed decision-making. As a data manager and statistician, he supports the Parkinson’s Disease Project, Multimorbidity in Africa: Digital Innovation, Visualization and Application (MADIVA), and Epilepsy Pathway Innovation in Africa (EPInA). He also develops real-time dashboards for efficient monitoring and data management and supports data documentation work within the CDM unit.

Frank holds a BSc in Biostatistics from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and is pursuing a master of Biomathematics at Strathmore University. Before joining APHRC, he worked as a data analyst at Adaptive Management Research Consultants (AMREC), where he honed his skills in data management and analysis, scientific writing, and artificial intelligence. His experience at AMREC laid the foundation for his current focus on using cutting-edge technology to enhance health research.
