ABOUT Evans Kaptum

Evans handles talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and leave management, among other generalist HR responsibilities at the Center. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management from Egerton University and a higher national diploma in HR (KNEC). He is undertaking a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) certification course.

He has previously worked as a human resource officer for the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI)—Wellcome Trust Research Programme and Intex Construction Limited, handling the life cycle of employees from recruitment and selection to separation. He has also been part of the HRMIS implementation team and HR strategy formulation.
