Epshiba Anyango Agwenge plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the Center by overseeing administrative functions, managing event calendars, coordinating logistics, maintaining records, handling communications, and implementing organizational policies. Her contributions enhance the organization’s overall effectiveness and productivity through strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and process streamlining.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Management. Before joining APHRC, she worked as an administrative assistant at Syngenta Foundation East Africa. Some of her notable accomplishments include implementing new administrative processes that optimized workflow and reduced costs, leading the integration of Smartsheet software to enhance departmental productivity, streamlining processes to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround times, managing vendor relationships to achieve cost savings, and receiving multiple accolades, including the employee of the month award for her exceptional performance in administrative duties.

She’s driven to support her colleagues, managers, and teams. She finds fulfillment in providing the necessary administrative support that allows others to focus on their core responsibilities and contribute to the organization’s success, as well as the challenge of solving complex problems and overcoming obstacles within the administrative realm and the opportunity to find innovative solutions to logistical, operational, or procedural difficulties.

Epshiba is all about giving back to the community. She enthusiastically dives into volunteer work and community service. Whether lending a hand or making a positive impact, she brings a socially responsible and fun-loving energy to both her work and her life!
