CATHRINE W. KARANJA
Catherine works in the Research and Related Capacity Strengthening Theme. She is responsible for coordinating management and administrative matters, handling the day-to-day administrative functions of the RRCS Division, and coordinating events and meetings within the Division, including staff meetings.
She is also responsible for coordinating internal and external partnerships, fostering collaboration within the Division and with external entities. She manages synergistic aspects and contributes to proposal development by aligning our division’s efforts with external partners.
Cathrine holds an MBA in Strategic Management and has 11 years of experience in program administration. In her previous position as a Program Officer—scholar support, she led the onboarding of new scholars and ensured the successful completion of their degrees.
Her achievements include developing and implementing comprehensive support programs that contributed to the successful completion of Cohort 1 scholars’ degrees.
She is driven by the opportunity to solve complex problems and make a meaningful impact. She finds great satisfaction in tackling challenges, learning continuously, and contributing to a team’s success. She is reliable and loyal and can effectively deliver on multiple tasks by going above and beyond to make sure the job is done.
