ABOUT Meshack K. Johnson

Meshack is a seasoned program management specialist with professional expertise in Program Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, Learning, and Communication. He supports the Center’s Measurement, Evaluation, and Learning Unit as a Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Communication Specialist. He supports measurement, evaluation, learning, and communication across the Center’s programs and projects. He also generates and shares strategic information that helps the management to make evidence-informed decisions.

Meshack brings ten years of experience designing, implementing, and managing robust M&E frameworks, including collecting and analyzing data using various tools.

Additionally, Meshack has experience generating high-quality program reports and translating MEL evidence into actionable findings. Before joining APHRC, Meshack was a Monitoring, Evaluation Research, and Learning Specialist at Act Change Transform (Act!). Meshack has worked with different organizations nationwide in diverse thematic areas like health, governance, human rights, peacebuilding, and devolution programs. In addition to Act Change Transform (Act!), Meshack has worked at Northern Rangelands Trust- Trading (NRTT), Research Triangle Institute (RTI – International), Keeping Alive Societies Hope (KASH), Caritas Isiolo (Catholic Diocese of Isiolo), and Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Kilifi).
