The African Population and Health Research Centre (APHRC), in collaboration with Global Health 50/50 (UK) and the International Centre for Research on Women (ICRW) in India, recently conducted an extensive research project whose groundbreaking findings on gender equality in the health workforce were published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) Collection.
The publication of these findings is the result of a collaborative effort aimed at fostering gendered awareness and parity in the healthcare sector. APHRC, along with its partners, is dedicated to stemming the identified interventions and working with stakeholders toward a future in which women have equal opportunities in the healthcare landscape.
