Yadeta Dessie Bacha
Yadeta is a research fellow at the Baobab Research Program Consortium (RPC), coordinating the project’s implementation in refugee settings in Ethiopia. The Baobab RPC aims to fill gaps in evidence to enhance SRHR among vulnerable populations in refugee settings in the East and Horn of Africa.
He holds a PhD in Public Health from Haramaya University, Ethiopia, a Master’s in Public Health from Addis Ababa University, and a BSc in Public Health from Haramaya University. He is an associate professor at Haramaya University in Ethiopia, where he teaches and supervises postgraduate students.
Before joining APHRC, Yadeta served as the Chief Executive Director of Haramaya University’s Health Science College from 2015 to 2022.
