ABOUT Sherine Adhiambo Athero

Sherine currently works as a field coordinator in the Packard Western Kenya project since February 2010. Sherine has about 6 years’ experience in the area of sexual and reproductive health; and has strong skills in project coordination and monitoring. She conducts daily monitoring of project activities to ensure successful implementation.

Sherine holds a BSc degree in Biomedical Science and Technology from Maseno University and is currently taking a MA degree course in Project Planning and Management at the University of Nairobi. Prior to joining APHRC, Sherine worked with Impact Research and Development Organization as a research assistant in the Tuungane youth project dealing with adolescent sexual and reproductive health, including HIV/AIDs in Suba district.

Sherine’s efforts are geared towards improving sexual and reproductive health. Her main interest is in family planning, HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health.
