Peter Mwenda Kaberia
Peter works as a Research Officer in the Immunization research group within the Countdown to 2030 (CD2030) initiative. Currently, Peter supports the immunization group in strengthening the analysis of immunization indicators (coverage and equity) in 25 countries in sub-Saharan Africa by leading the development of training manuals and analysis tools, coordinating policy engagement, and disseminating project outputs.
He holds MSc(Biometry) and BSc (Statistics) degrees, both from the University of Nairobi. He is also an alumnus of the TB and HIV Coinfection Training Program Kenya (TBHTP) Medium Track fellowship. Peter has over seven years of progressive experience in managing research activities, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and facilitating research stakeholder engagements.
Prior to joining APHRC, Peter was a Quantitative Evaluator consultant at Mathematica Global and a data analyst at inSupply Health.
Peter is driven by the desire to see the proper utilization of technology to health data to alleviate human suffering in Africa and beyond. He also seeks personal growth and progressive excellence in all he does, helping others along the way.
When not thinking about data and epidemiological research, Peter is a motorbike enthusiast who enjoys long countryside trips, good music and African food.
