Ochengo Nickson Auma
Nickson is a Grants Accountant for the JPIAMR program that is Sida-funded and an assistant to the office of the Deputy Executive Director.
Prior to joining APHRC, he served for one year as an Assistant Grants Accountant for the African Academy of Sciences (AAS). In that role, he managed grants funded by Wellcome Trust, BMGF, and Sida to more than USD 100 million.
He also served as the Accounts Assistant at APHRC, where he oversaw the implementation of the M-PESA payment system and managed month-end accounting cycle activities.
Nickson has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Kenyatta University in Kenya and a CPA (K). He is pursuing an MSc. in Health Economics and Policy at the University of Nairobi, and he is a member of ICPAK.
